1. Pass the wire through the cap hole and tie a UL knot (to prevent it from falling off).
2. Remove the inner socket from the housing, do not remove the cardboard insulation.
3. Unscrew the two screws from the inner socket, Wrap the wire around and tighten the screws.
4. Snap the inner socket firmly into the socket housing and push it back into the socket cap.
5. Finally, rotate the three-way bulb into the socket and install it on the fixture together with the three-way socket.
